Registered Dietitian & NASM - Certified Personal Trainer

I've always had a passion for helping others achieve their true potential. The healthcare space never spoke to me as a career path - managing illness vs. a preventative approach. I aim to empower people to make educated decisions in their day-to-day life and meet people where they are in their health journey. As I was completing my credentials to become a registered dietitian, I spent a year's time exploring different avenues of nutritional education and found my passion lies in wellness - Specifically corporate and community wellness, health coaching, and working in fitness facilities.

A registered dietitian is more than just a health or nutrition coach. Anyone can call themselves a nutritionist. Registered dietitians require a four-year undergraduate degree, complete at least 900 hours of dietetic practice with approved supervision in clinical, food service, and community rotations, sit for a state exam, and stay current with continuing education. Dietitians have complete training in medical nutrition therapy and can guide as it relates to disease prevention and management.

In 2014 I earned my Bachelor’s in Human Biology, with an emphasis in Nutrition and Exercise Science at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. I completed my dietetic internship through the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in 2016, completing my state exam the same year. Throughout my schooling, I worked in a big box gym, a supplement store, and with the Green Bay Packers, learning from their brilliant Registered Dietitian. After college, I taught general nutrition and sports nutrition courses at a local technical college while also offering employee health coaching at a corporate company. As it came to be, I am still offering employee health coaching with the same organization I started working at straight out of college, while also managing their corporate wellness programming and internal communications.

Over the years, I’ve aimed to challenge my nutrition and exercise knowledge by competing in bodybuilding and powerlifting competitions, Spartans, Ragnars, and Tough Mudders, as well as Adventure Races, focusing on biking, hiking, and canoeing. I’ve also begrudgingly completed a half-marathon during the COVID era. I enjoy being a “jack of all trades, and a master of none” as it relates to my own wellness journey. While I appreciate the dedication one has to a specific sport/hobby, I believe being strong in one specific sport or mode is not the ideal way to live optimally.

If you’re looking for someone to support you in your journey by helping you find stability in building healthy sustainable habits - I’m your girl.
